Bill and Sheila Greenwood pioneered the Crouch Valley vineyard movement in 1969 by establishing New Hall Wine Estate. The business remains family-owned to this day, run by the third generation. With 120 acres now under vine and an impressive newly built winery on site, New Hall has firmly established a stellar reputation as the home of award winning still wines.
Paul’s love for hospitality began at 18 and has been involved in the industry for over 20 years. He developed his in-depth understanding of food & wine whilst amassing a great CV history of places such as The Grove, The pipe of port and Food Leigh on Sea.
It was during this time that he completed his wine exams, hosting regular wine tastings and travelling with his skill to some of the most iconic wine regions in the world. Paul is now an ambassador for New Hall Wine Estate in Essex where he promotes a stong love for English wine.
Featured on radio and television Paul educates people about the various winemaking styles by drawing on his expertise in the subject.
